True, but that will begin to somewhat fade as designers post TOAW III updates to their work, once they have the game in their hands.

Yeah. But this is true regardless of what's in the scenario list.

The previous point though is you will need TOAW 3 to play the updated versions as designers make changes. Yes they are available now in COW, but updates will mostly be in TOAW 3 format.

Right, but- as I said- this will not depend on whether the scenarios are in the list. I expect many scenarios which are in that list will remain unchanged, whereas I am almost certain that there are several scenarios not in that list which are already being revamped for a TOAW III release.

I certainly hope so! We'd like to see scenario designers taking advantage of TOAW III to bring their masterpieces to even greater levels of yummy goodness!

Whew? Did I just say "yummy goodness"?[X(]

I've been working too hard, and I either need a snack, or a nap.

I think I'll start with the nap...[>:]

This list is fantastic. All these scenarios make the game worth it.

A question though, is the PO programmed to play either side in all these scenarios/campaigns since this was not always the case in some of these ACOW versions ???

I expect most scenarios will have the same restrictions, but the reasons why so many weren't PO-capable have been fixed in a lot of cases, so you will see some designers adding PO functionality to scenarios over time. For example, when it becomes possible to convert my Poland scenario to TOAW III, I will probably revamp the rather out-of-date PO objective tracks.

Ben's (Golden Delicious') expectations are correct.

The download doesn't seem to work [&:]
The site has seemed to be having some problems with downloading attached files, over the course of the last 12-14 hours. Contact the webmaster and let them know there's a problem. Thanks.

I don't mean to be a whiner, but (a) after looking over the forums and realted pages, I'm not sure how to contact the webmaster or even who s/he is, (b) isn't that something the moderator and poster of the file could do more efficiently?

I already did, but by clicking on this link, http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/showprofile.asp?memid=9563# you should be able to, as well. The more he messages he gets, the more likely it is, that he might do something about it.[:)]

Thanks! I've just sent him an e-mail -- I suppose this has something to do with the upgrade?

OK, I'm confused. I downloaded the list but there are two major bookmark headings, Classic TOAW and TOAW-III. Are only the ones listed under TOAW-III included in the release?

No, the release will have both sets of scenarios.

No, the ones under TOAW III are the new scenarios added to the old ACOW ones so, basically everything in this list will be in TOAW III [;)]

Erik, please have Alex (or whoever) take care of the downloading problem on the forums. I tried to download your file, and couldn't. The box said it was downloaded 84 times before I tried. Immediately after, it said 85 times. Something is definitely screwy. Thanks.

I've already forwarded this issue to him, I'm not sure why it's taking so long to resolve.

FYI, I just tried for the first time to download the attachment and I got it just fine. Not sure if somebody fixed it or if it just works for some and not for others.
