TOAW III Released!

Post by Erik Rutins »

Hi all, just putting this on its own official thread. The official press release will be available later tonight. If you're looking for it in the store, please try the handy "Buy Now" link just below the sub-forum listing. That will take you to the right place if it's not showing up for you in the store yet (the store cache is clearing).

Hey, when I was studying for my finals, wargame companies were doing the same thing to me! Just continuing a long and distinguished tradition... [:D] Of course, we didn't have digital downloads back then... [8D]

Cool! Congratulations! Do what I did for my 4 kids...volunteer to take the night shift for your wife, and with baby in your left arm, and your mouse in the other, play TOAW until baby is resting peacefully![>:]

You've got to post a picture of that. :)
Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man ... weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not [it] an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

I expect within a couple of weeks. Erik would be able to better answer that question, though...

You can presumably convert his other scenarios for yourself. They're in the public domain for COW.
"What did you read at university?"
"War Studies"
"War? Huh. What is it good for?"
"Absolutely nothing."

Actually, there are three. Read his Armchair General interview for details, but he wanted to update his larger masterpieces to take further advantage of the new features of TOAW III. He is quite the perfectionist, and didn't have time to do that, as well as all the hard work of running the scenario evaluation group. Give him time, and I'm sure that you will see more of his work in the future.
