No display of Planned Combat/Turn Used

Ok, this appears to be a constant bug, if it is in fact a bug.

I downloaded the game the instant I heard it was finally released and I searched for the feature I was most excited about, the Planned Combat/Turn Used display, unfortunately I was unable to activate it. After looking over every button I finally delveved into the .pdf help file. I found on pg. 39 that to get the Planned Combat/Turn Used display in the information panel I was to hold my mouse cursor over the "bolted" plate under the control panel, which, I assume is the Display panel, as it was refered to earlier. Either way I slowly cruised all over the right side of my screen, with nothing coming up in my information panel.

I am running on 1024x768 display settings and therefore have no TOAW III symbol in my display/"bolted" panel, which is the only thing I can possibly think of that would be unique about my situation.

I have tried this in three different scenarios with the same results.

If anyone else wants to maybe test it at 1024x768 and rule that reason out or in, might be helpful.

Not a bug. You need to have a minimum window size of 1024x768 to see the logo and circlet display. If you have your Windows Taskbar to appear on your desktop, then that reduces the size of the TOAW III window to less than the minimum window size, if running at a desktop resolution of 1024x768. You have two options:

First, increase your desktop resolution to 1152x864, or higher.

Second, if your monitor does not support higher desktop resolutions than 1024x768, right-click on your Windows Taskbar, select Properties, and put a check mark on Auto-hide the Taskbar.

What about putting the taskbar to the right by clicking it left, hold and move it on the right side of the screen?

My monitor does not support higher resolutions, until I am rich and can upgrade.
 
Auto-hide works, as does putting the task-bar on the right/left side. Thanks Telumar, because I alwasy feel the need to be abel to see my task-bar.
