Blank Database?

Post by Kadorak »

Does anyone have a database for WPO with all ship slots at delay 9999 or even just deleted? As is it is nearly impossible to create a limited scenario (at least without clogging up the ship list) as all off-map ships appear on the ship list and reinforcements list unless removed from play. Or is there a way to make a change to many ship entries all at once?

Hm... I could email you the latest Cautionaries - that database is roughly only 25% the size of stock campaigns as all non-US, non-Japan, post-11/1923 ships and units have been deleted... :) PM me your email address if interested.

Imho, the most efficient way to have that kind of changes is to use witpload utility

http://mathubert.free.fr/witp_files/witpload.zip

Just export database to csv files. Edit them with excel and import csv files back to witp/wpo database.

The use of WITP Checker is also possible to check the integrity of database.

I think I already have Cautionaries, at least the latest publically released version which you e-mailed to me a few weeks ago [;)] Thanks for the suggestion of using it as a base. That WITPload program makes me so happy I think I could kiss you except, well, I couldn't. But it makes me happy. Very much so.
