Pretty sure that's 8 torps total, not 8 for each tube.

Four in the four tubes, plus a set of four reloads (although not sure the Wakatakes actually shipped spares).

Well, unless Nik does it different: in Submarines, it is the current fish in tubes plus reloads, and i would think it was the same for DDs. For instance - an S-boat on mine runs has ammo listed as 1 - just the fish in the tubes.

EDIT:
PS - i DO fear the kitten!! [X(] [:D]

Nope, the ammo gives the amound of SALVO ammo, in this case, 8 salvo's
"normal" destroyers carry a single reload, so their ammo is 2.... (see picture)

Wow!  I need to try Nik's mod.  I'm pretty sure it's not in the AB's scenarios.  I'd have noticed that.

Never knew Nik was a Japanese destroyer fanboy.[:D]

Nik's just a JFB Mike. Plain and simple. More evidence here.

Oh you didn't put it in the FAQ? Couldn't have been you changing it and not announcing it due to fanboyism then?[:D]

Pic from "stock" game, same ammo loadout. Looks like somebody at MATRIX got tired and copied the DC ammo over to the torp ammo...
