Possible bug?

Post by elhior »

I'm playing an internet game with a friend. He plays the Axis and I play the Allies. We're using Franco's Alliance mod, with the newest WAW patch.

The Germans just conquered Leningrad, and the russian fleet retreated to Karelia's port. When Karelia was then conquered by the Finland's infantry, the fleet retreated to Barents' sea. That means that the supply road to northern Russia cannot be used by the WAs (since the russian fleet is there), and any possibility of amphibious assault is also eradicated.

Is it a bug? Is it normal that the russian fleet retreated from Leningrad to Karelia, through land?

Thanks!

This is an oddity that can happen. I agree it is a pain.

It's really more of a series of portages. Indigineous elk and reindeer herds could also have been used if the retreat occured in winter.
