Nothing against the Italians its pasta I don't like. [:-]

"You are what you eat!" [:D]
might explain a little bit about world war II performance. The Italian army fought about like a limp noodle. [:D]

They just don't like loud noises! This explains their past glory (i.e. - before invention of gunpowder.)

So how many cases of beer will that buy? (I'm not a beer drinker so I have no clue.)

Well, you could probably get a deal with that quantity - maybe $5 per 6 pack = 160 6- packs , or 40 cases (24 per case).

i'm guessing that $800 got used for cleaning up the apartment (and they probably needed more than that!) Apparently, the apartment is also doing well now (no real signs of its former trauma.)

EDIT: If you bought in cases, and waited until Sam's has a special, you might be able to double the amounts...

I do like nachos and quasidillias so I can't bash Mexiacn too much. Some of their meat dishes remind me of Alpo so I rarely am in the mood for it.

Wife is from Southern California so she loves the stuff.

Mainly cheese. Kids don't realize what they're missing.

I know where E. Brunswick is too. My mother-in-law lives in Toms River. Been there 1-2 times a year for the past 26 years. Lived there for a bit too. I'm also going to Ft. Dix for a 2 week TDY in Aug.

Edit: Why on earth would you want to go to London?[&:]

Few people in the US have ever had real Mexican food. Nachos and quesadillas are *not* Mexican. I've made some real, authentic Mexican dishes and they were very good. But they don't show up on menus much.

1. Mexican
2. Thai/Vietnamese
3. Indian
4. Italian
5. American South

South American beef. Mmmm. Some of the best steak I've ever had. Don't know why and don't really want to know why.

Italian (at least American Italian) is way to heavy and unhealthy. Lots of pasta (100% white bread carbs) served with lots of sauce (mostly fatty) and cheese (yet more fat).

Italian I do like includes Minnestroni soup or has lots of roasted vegetables.

Mexican, and I do mean real mexican, not enchalidas or tacos from Jose's Taco Shack, is delicious. Lot's of grilled steak or pork with roasted vegetables and best of all roasted green chiles. Yum! It's paricularly good with cold cerveza

I do like greek though. I had forgotten about it. In Denver we have an excellent all night Greek diner. Double yum!

This is true. As a teen I lived in Northern VA for 4 years. They had like 4 mexican restaraunts in the whole area and the food they served was more like a frozen dinner.

If they change the immigration laws though we may all get the chance to sample Mexican food a lot more often. [:'(]
