Upcoming features?

Post by 76mm »

I've always liked TOAW but have hated the interface, especially for the editor. Any chance that the interface will be revamped (please, from the ground up!) in future versions?

I appreciate the various bug fixes, etc., but it will take more than that to bring me back to this game. Any other hints about what might lay ahead?

Don't get me wrong, the terrain and unit graphics are fine (no 3d sprites, please), but wrestling with the interface, especially when trying to design scenarios, really turned me off.

Yes.

We've already added F6/F7 to load/save events, and plan more changes in the future. Especially to the editor. It probably won't be a total rewrite, but I hope to make more changes, starting with the event editor. It all depends on priorities.
