Titan Spreadsheet

Post by CaptainMerMethyl »

Can anyone link me to a spreadsheet of the basic titans?

Any other reference links for this game would be very much appreciated. Just bought it, and it is a bit overwhelming.

Thanks!

Welcome to the club! I too bought the game recently and am enjoying every minute of it.

I find it easiest to select Titans by using the default "sort by weapon" when you purchase via your HQ (the 3rd option, "Titan Factory Database"), and just look at the weapon loadouts that match the skills of the jock you are buying for. I wouldn't worry about other stuff like the Titan's systems (Scanner, Flares, Shield, etc), they don't make too much of a difference at low levels compared to selecting a proper weapon loadout that the jock can use to the best of his/her/it's skills.

Have fun!

Edit: forgot to mention that the manual and the tutorial are very helpful. Also when you start your first few random battles, set the balance indicator all the way down (100% in your favour) so that the tonnage of the random enemy team is half of your team's - higher chances of everyone in your team surviving.

Also if possible set the enemy team size to the largest number, since if your team is 4 Recon Titans (4x 40 = 160 tons), a half tonnage enemy team (80 tons) can be either 2 Recon Titans (2x 40 = 80) OR a single Light Titan (1x 70 tons, extra discarded). 2 Recons are easier to kill than 1 Light, the Light Titan can quite easily crush 1 or 2 of your recons before you manage to overwhelm it.
