Referee Switcher

Post by VCFL Commish »

What do you guys think of this idea.A little program that would generate the type of ref.

I went to the CFL 2005 facks and figures book there were six referees.
4 Refs call normal
1 Hard
1 Loose

The referees name will be placed in the box score so you can tell how the game was called.

Also put in a random rouge in rouge out. 8 out of 10 times .This is to kind of simulate the CIS rule were you get the ball at the 20.

This is still only good for the VCFL since I don`t know yet how to upload other leagues.

It switches the type of refereeing in the game .All referees arn`t the same some call one way some call another. This switches the refs around. So for example Jake Ireland is set at Normal so the game your playing gets the fair share of penaltys. Then you see Glen JOHNSON is the ref so theres going to be less penalties your team will get away with more.
Dave YULE is your ref its going to be called pretty tight so theres going to be alot of penalties. The program changes the style of refereeing in the game so thats why it belongs here.

Hmm... that is not a bad system. I like it, because I do agree some games in real life don't always get the greatest officals. That does bring up some issues aswell with MaxFB, I think the Penelty systems is somewhat limited. I have yet too see a Pass Interference call in any Quick Play games.
