Will the Matrix updates include on screen combat result ala HPS! My biggest problem with the battleground series was the headaches I got from shifting my eyes' focus from on screen to the combat results box for each firing.

Yea, I hope so... I never cared for having to close that results window for every battle. I prefer the HPS series where results are flashed briefly and then disapear.

It might be interesting to have a feature added where a battle log was created automatically for optional viewing. Something that would show Date/Time, location, units involved, and casualties inflicted/taken on all attacks (including defensive fire). If you were a real fanatic you could have that window running in the background to let you see the details of what is happening. Very good for the analytical types who want to dissect a battle while keeping the details out of the way of gameplay for the rest of us.

Will combat results still be handed out in groups of 25?

I would really, really hope that it will be individual losses as in the HPS games. I did read somewhere that losses in units of 10 worked really well on the BG series. How they modded the system to do that is beyond my understanding, but it is apparently something that can be changed.
