Plan attack graphics dont' clear

Post by SMK-at-work »

Tried searching for this and didn't find anything - I'll post a screenshot later tonight when I get home.

Basically - I plan an attack, check the odds, don't like it and abort.

Much of the "blue box" that is the Plan attack popup then remains on screen, confusing me no end. Units always show through it, but not unoccupied terrain.

Happens every time I plan an attack then abort.

The holdover graphics disappear if I scoll the screen.

How do you abort? Hitting the escape key, or something else?

How do you start the attack planner?

I"m not sure what to say, I'm not seeing that problem on my system. Have you tried the obvious, rebooting your PC, closing all programs, making sure that your video drivers are updates, etc.

It doesn't stop the game - as I said all the superfluous graphics disappear with a screen scroll - it's just a nuisance.

My graphic driver is the latest one available.

this used to happen alot in my previous versions of TOAW, I would just minimize the screen then maximize and poof no more problem.

Yes, the UI subsystem is due to go under the knife for the next release.

Supply calculations are a lot slower than they should be. They'll be looked at in the future. That can take up to 15 or more minutes even on fast machines, depending on the configuration, etc.
