Is Flashpoint Middle East going to be NATO vs WP, Arab vs Israeli, or Desert Storm/Iraqi freedom setting?

The initial release is focused on the Arab-Israeli conflicts of the 50-80's. The idea will be to expand to include other Mid-East hotspots as we go. I'm sure more of these questions will get worked out over the next few weeks, especially with Origins coming up and a major Matrix face to face. Right now if we can get the core system functions established adding other countries/regions will be easier (albeit somewhat time consuming with all the graphics). Right now there are more platforms in the Egytian listing then all platforms in FPG from all sides. Multiply that times 4-8 countries covering 1950 to 2010 and we have a ton of work to do. I'm behind as it stands just getting a small cross section for testing of just Egypt, Israel and Syria. Thankfully most equipment is based on US or Russian systems. Bugs in my database coding haven't helped either over the weekend. Nothing like working a full list to see that the armour values got messed up because of a blown variable name. Such is the good life. [;)]

The amount of info should start to ramp up in the next few weeks as we settle into getting a running version. So stay tuned!

Aw man, I'd have loved playing NATO vs WP scenarios in the desert.  Harold Coyle's Sword Point comes to mind.
