12/30 - 12/31/41
CENT PAC
I was just about to send significant naval forces to South Pac, when SS Pompano spotted a Val roughly between Midway & Wake. Intelligence is predicting a 1 division invasion of Johnston, supported by the full KB (well, that's my guess).
Even if that's true, I still think the threat to Hawaii is a bluff.
The Lexington TF, & my BB TF sortie from Pearl. Marine DBs & Buffalos head to Johnston. The Saratoga TF, which was providing ASW cover for BBs heading to the West Coast, will join up with Lex. Enterprise is headed from Dutch Harbor to hit the supply lines.
On the west coast, the 40th Div is loading for Lahaina as well as more supplies for Pearl.
A jap sub, earlier damaged near Hawaii, sinks near Midway. 2 more Jap transports are confirmed as scuttled.
SO PAC/SW PAC
Most of New Guinea has been gobbled up by the Japs now - my opponent's using Construction battalions to take the unoccupied bases (smart move). I may try to fly some troops in somewhere to spoil that.

A couple nuisance air raids by the allies, but nothing important.
