Request for two players

Post by el cid again »

I wish to run two tests of RHSBBO - one as Allies - one as Japan -
to experiment with some innovative units and devices in a human play (not AI) context. These may be medium term tests - continued even after they might not be interesting in a campaign sense - to figure out what happens to the economy or other things longer term. They are not exactly tourniment games - insofar as I won't attempt to do things to the best operational standards - because I am going to try things just to learn what happens when you do this or that - but no one ever said it was easy or entirely predictable when I was on the other side either. RHSBBO because of two factors:

1) It has more experimental ships and units;

2) It is my main design concept -

CVO (and variant RAO) are for those who think history demands EXACTLY the same strategic decisions

BBO is for those (like me) who think pre war and early war plans were very likely to be implemented in many situations.

Further, BBO is the foundation for PPO and partially for ESO - so I want to understand it better - so they will be better - in a technical sense. This requires more than AI tests - and not all human players will try to use the new ships and planes and devices to their limits. These need to be understood to insure there are no unresolved technical issues.

For some reason the forum email is blocking you! Do you prefer Allies or Japanese?
