First Winter Effects on Axis

Post by AndyBrown »

Guys,

I'm a newbie to WiR. I've known about the game for years but only really started getting into it a couple of weeks ago when I ran out of things to do at the same time as I was reading a particularly good book on the GPW.

I don't want to restart the spirited thread about whether or not the ease with which Axis units are shattered during 41-42 blizzards is realistic or not. In order to help me understand the game a bit better, however, I was wondering if someone could describe for me exactly what the game does to produce this effect. Is it simply a consequence of very few Axis squads turning up to fight battles in blizzard weather, thus reducing the cv? If so, how does the programme make this happen?

Thanks,

Andy Brown
