Norm Koger's The Operational Art of War III is the next game in the award-winning Operational Art of War game series. TOAW3 is updated and enhanced version of the TOAW: Century of Warfare game series. TOAW3 is a turn based game covering operational warfare from 1850-2015. Game scale is from 2.5km to 50km and half day to full week turns. TOAW3 scenarios have been designed by over 70 designers and included over 130 scenarios. TOAW3 comes complete with a full game editor.

Good lord !!!!!!!!!!
I have just purchased the download of TOAW 3, installed it and selected the above scenario. It took around 10 minutes to go throught the airphase and supply phase and then it opened.

This scenario looks huge and I initially looked over some units and the map, a whopper and a huge amount of units (eeekkkkk).
My next task is to print the instructions on how to play TOAW 3, get a feel for the game and begin action in the east.

Hope I can find players though and I dont think I will be disappointed.

10 minutes? In TOAW 1.04 it took HOURS.

I loaded this last night as well just to see it[:D] took my very fast system at home and drug it right down to earth[&o]. Looks like fun, but only PBEM and only with someone who is REALLY COMMITTED to playing it.
