Post by George Patton »

Oh no, I cannot resist......

I'm searching for a jap opponet, 2-3 turn per week.

AB CHS, scenario 140 Nik's mode 5.02.

Non historical first move, player def upgr on, and some others to discuss.

Hi GP,

how about "play testing" the CHS Beta on extended map (6.1) ? Just for the common good ? [;)]
we are in the same time zone and our soccer teams play at different times ?

Sharing an AAR/Notes thread to help AB and his chaps ? Both of us as unbiases as (almost) neutral participants can be ? [:D]

Cheers

Uhm.

Let me take a look on 6.1. But it's ok with Nik's 140 scenario?

Com'on George !

You can handle this lot ! [8D]
The difference to previous maps are minor and only show with the CHS 2 Beta: Wau and some more bases in Southern China. Subtle ones but very convincing.

You may have to "adjust" to the increased "micro" management in CHS as opposed to Nik - many more different units - which is a lot of fun.

The main diff. could be the air war. But with 1.801 I am not sure it is required.

CHS 2 Beta has introduced more PPs for the allied side. I have seen some comments on the board, mostly negative. But I am not sure this is right. Care to discuss and try options ?

Cheers

For me it could be ok try this new version. The only problems are, as you can read on the other forum, that I like much Nik's mode, that limit a lot allied power in the beginning, and that I have other games running with old version 4.0.

Well mate.

About the only way to "advance to the next stage", while keeping your current games going would be a dual - or multiple - install. Not much of an issue, really. Once WitP is installed, you can have as many (running copies) as you whish.
If you have any concerns, PM me your Phone number - and we will sort out things.

Cheers
