Not knowing exactly how you've modified your graphics, I can't say for sure. However, keep in mind that the program will read and load the files in the AltGraphics folder with a higher precedence than those in the Graphics folder. The automated switching of TOAWIII/Classic graphics packages take place within the Graphics folder. So, it depends on where you put what, as to what you will have displayed when you open the program.

Then just use the start menu item: The Operational Art of War III > Extras > Revert to TOAW III Graphics.

Whatever is in your alt-graphics folder will show up in the game. I have mix of a few different mods in my folder. If you want to save other mods for later on, just make a new folder and put them in there. What I would like to see[;)] is if you were to start a scenario in a certain time frame like the modern middle east and you have graphics in the same folder with the scenario is to have the program load them into the game. That way you can have different GUI and graphics for different time frames.

Just make sub-folders within the altgraphics folder and then write a nice little batch script that would let you choose a theme to load. After you load a theme, it would then simply delete *.bmp from the altgraphics folder and then copy *.bmp from "whatevertheme" folder to the altgraphics folder. Pretty simple stuff really, just have to jog the ole' brain on how to write DOS batch scripts which isn't difficult by any means.

Out of curiosity, have you tried putting the files there with the scenarios? [X(] I didn't explicitly test it, but COW used to load some files from the scenario directory... Let me know if it works. If it does, I'm going to have to swap some code around so that it's properly supported.

Yes… it does work.[:)]
What's funny is that I could have sworn that I try this before (this morning) and it didn't work.[&:]
But it's working now.

Now for the problem. The problem with it is that it will override any sceanrio specific graphics. I've got to rearrange things so that it looks for them first, then these.

Whilst on the topic of graphics, is it possible to mod the in game font? If so, could anyone suggest a nice easy to read font mod, something like Arial maybe. Trying to read this one late at night is making my eyes bleed, even in the higher contrast mode [:D]
