CHS 2.03 Chinese Air

Post by Nomad »

in Senario 160 I see that all of the Russian built Chinese aircraft( I-16c, I-153c, S2c, Il-4c, etc ) have a replacement rate of 1. Is this intended? It would seem that the Chinese Air Force will wilt after one or two combats.

Maybe they're meant to change to US types fairly quickly?[:'(]

The only thing they can change to quickly are P-43s and they have a replacement of 10. It's a long time until P-40Ns.

But I see that P-66s are available in 6/42 at 15. I wonder what the heck a P-66 is? [&:][:)]

Hi,

I believe that it was thought that replacement a/c from Russia would be nil , and a replacement rate of one would represent stripping of damaged/unflyable a/c to keep the rest flying.

P-66....Think of a Chance Vought Corsair without the gull wing, and not as powerful an engine.....
