'Y' Key Crashes

Hey,

I read the technical support thread, but my nVidia card is very modern and the old drivers referenced don't have anything for it. Is there a way to just disable this hotkey? Or is there some patch past 8.4 that helps with this?

Even if Matrix has no intention of continuing to add major things, they really really need to at least have a d/l that disables the 'y' hotkey or something, this is by far the most annoying thing about the game and has nearly driven me away in frustration several times.

I bet you are not the only one. [;)]

There are some other keys too that'll crash the game. But the 'Y' key is the problem, because it had meaning before so old players tend to press it. It's also so close to 'T' key so you can accidentally press it.

But no, there's no naswer to that, unless changing to older driver or even card... sorry to say. Not sure if Matrix could do something about it. But because the game is freeware, the updates are very very rare.
