[:)]Is there a possibility of a CD version of this to be bought??? Maybe this could replace the Generals edition! Just a thought!

heheheh no
this is SPWAW and only the Mega Campaigns can be sold.
not SPWAW itself
plus this was not a "Matrix" project.

Some other things for V2
The German AI picks for early war have been adjusted. they were buying almost all infantry in V1
SNIPERS are going to made a little more deadly (we hope)
we are trying some things out.
[:)]
Flashfyre has also come up with a couple new formations for USA as well
how about a "Task Force?"
[X(]
Also reworked a German formation or 2
[:D]
The Generic level bombers which are in the Czech oob apparently were not showing up,
thats been fixed as well as, other formations elsewhere that were not showing up for one reason or another.
Plus whatever we have read on the forums posted by the gamers that needed addressing.

Which units are getting their prices adjusted ?
I find that units with indirect fire capabilities and the Forward observers are too cheap now because the new pricing structure doesn't seem to take this sort of stuff into account and justs rates them in comparison to other guns (AT etc), which they obviously don't compare well with. At the moment a battery of huge offboard 150mm artillery peices with 44 crewmen costs the same as 50mm PAK section ?
go figure

Please note that ammunition is a factor in calculating costs, so an German 88mm anti-air craft with zero rounds of ammunition (code does not care about the unit name) is evaluated as a size three (vehicular size, very easy to hit, soft target) group of eleven men armed with fists and unable to move and with a rate of fire of only five, not able to swing very quickly and a kill factor of zero, giving a net unit cost of one (for effort).
However the "ammo and pricing routine" did not work correctly for all units.
Rockets for instance.
onboard Nebelwerfers is one that is being looked at.
Also the "over supplied" OBA was a bit too cheap.

FOs have been discussed, but what price would you give them?
How about FO vehicles with wheels? what Price?
how about tracked ones, which can also go thru hedges and buildings?

The indirect fire weapons ammo loadouts and ROF and other factors are the reason for their price. amount of crew members for offboard artillery does not matter as far as price.

The indirect fire weapons ammo loadouts and ROF and other factors are the reason for their price. Their ammo will be used up alot quicker than a 50mm Pak section.
So, when trying to figure out how values were derived, please look at ammunition, rate of fire and other factors not normally obvious.

The "programmers conventions" are not perfect but they are an improvement IMO to units being priced on "rarity"

Its hard to say how much an FO should cost exactly but i would think its equipment and abillity to call in fire support quickly would make it cost  slightly more than a scout for example but the conventions don't factor this in.
I actually like the new pricing in all other areas with the new version and don't intend any criticism but I'm probably just used to H2H and V8 where the big guns cost a lot more

The reason I'm asking is because I'm presently playing 8.4 so I can't comment on the MOD but it really ticks me when I'm pulling my desert colored units threw an oasis to use the trees and fonna as cover and the AI seems to be able to see right throu the cover and still get really high hit odds eventhou the cover states that the visablity wouldn't give them that much line of sight view???
SOO IS THE VIEW FOR our EYE CANDY OR CAN U ACTUALLY TRY TO MATCH THE CAMO TO the enviornment to get cover advantages in loss of or breaking up of sight??

Remember in 8.4 the spotting was tweaked up too high.

The Camo Icons have no effect on spotting in the game, unless theres something in game code I have never been aware of.

Alby: It's time to beg Admin for a sticky thread with a link.
