COTA on Game Rankings...sort of

Post by JaguarUSF »

So I was curious what COTA has gotten on Game Rankings, and it says this:

I didn't know COTA was published by CDV in 2004!

Why do so many people mix RDoA with CotA? (I don't mean you Jaguar) Gamespot appears to have done the same thing. I wonder what Bethesda would make of it if Gamespot posted a link to a review of Oblivion that was, in fact, Daggerfall?!

As far as I can see, both GameRankings and GameSpot link to the same old RDoA review on Ace Games. Shame.

Hopefully someone will figure it out.  I'll be damned if I'm going to pay $4/month to have the privilege of writing a review for them.

At least Gamerankings listen. They took that link down right after I (or maybe somebody else as well) moaned about it!

I suspect the reason for it is that as a relatively low-interest game, no-one checks the details out, so they slap in some from an earlier game in the same series. That or they've just been a bit sloppy.
