So if I want to buy 100-200k worth of stuff for some of the datacenters my company runs, can I get a 'WITP Forum' discount?

pitty, you are more valuable in history-archaeology talks than IT sales (what the heck it is?[:D])

Sorry to hijack your AAR PzB (hey can you explain why you took this nick name - i always wondered that. I guess it has something with Panzer IB? It is easy to explain Speedys nick name...hihihihi[:D], but yours are little more enigmatic)...

My apologise to PzB on hijacking once again .... i know that Speedy was waiting for that[;)][:D]

Hang in there PzB; I'm in mid Oct '43 in my PBEM and my opponent has informed me that a glitch in the game has pushed up some B-29 units to '43!  We have absolutely zero house rules, standard full-war campaign, PDU-on....so, it's only a matter of time until he has 800 B29s out looking for KB.

His B24s and B17s are his best anti-navy option anyway [:(]

Theoretically, I belive B29s need a size 7 airbase to operate with a full bombload.  Flying out of a smaller base, even if it is just a few hexes, will be done at 'extended' ops losses and 'extended' bombloads.

Good luck with your sales career Speedy [;)]
Think they want one of my legs into that department in due time in my firm as well.

Think you're creating your own alternative war story by now Pauk, but I'll do my best
to provide you with Andy Mac intel on the way [:D]

Mid 43 sneer - tried to invade an atoll and Ken flew in a full division in a few days.
I could no longer attack enemy land bases with the KB as enemy strike ac became more
numerous than locusts and the Corsair's ruled the skies and the Hellcats appeared on
lots of new Essex Class carriers.

Andy said he made a big mistake by ordering his B-29's to sortie from Wasile.
Now he's using them for his everyday strikes...

We're now producing the Grace - torpedo range 7, max range 10. I don't have escort
fighters for these superb attack ac!!

Sounds like you're in for it Duke! [;)] WitP need a few house rules, especially in 44-45 if you ask me...running the show
without em would be like playing Doom 3 on nightmare level I guess [:D]

You can check out the IT site I work for Speedy: www.soludyne.com
The system documents and helps optimalize work processes.

Hehe, so you wanna know the most deeply kept secret of them all [;)]
Back in 1997 I ran the Steel Panthers Ladder in the Generals Guild Wargaming Club.
First tournament included 64 players and we were even sponsored by SSI!

My nick illustrated my armored doctrine philosophy - the PanzerBlitz.
Can even be deployed in the Pacific - Schneller Heinz was quite right!-)

Been waiting for my Jill factories to upgrade to the Grace...2 days into May
and still nothing [&:]

77th Div unloading at Saipan, 22th Div will arrive at Tinian tomorrow while the 55th
will reach Guam in a few days. Releasing a crack regiment for Pagan tomorrow.
Should bring all these bases up to ca 1000 AP.

147k supplies enroute from Japan [:)]

Ulithi got 1000 AP, Yap 500 and Palau 600. The last two bases are constantly reinforced
by airlifting units from PNG.

3 repair ships (AR) arrived in Japan, will move them to my repair yards.
2 more days and a fleet carrier arrives in Tokyo.

The rewards of delaying the enemy: more of everything to defend with in the final phase
of the war [:D]

Not a lot to report - 25 'routine' milk runs by Andy's bombers.
Very quiet, enemy probably re-grouping for another push. Will this be the big one?

Saipan up to 1300 assault points!

Should be plenty of supplies Pauk...just a bit impatient [;)]

Let me present the latest adition to the KB, carrier Kasagi!
In 10 days the Aso will arrive and after another 16 we got a powerful carrier TF
based around the Taiho and 3 Katsuragi class carriers. The light carrier Chioyda
left Hong Kong today to join the fleet at Naha.

nice ratings of the commander[;)]... he have strange rank... i guess it shows our determination to defend the Empire![:D]

Good to get brand new CV with "future" upgrade! 1116 AA is respectable rating...

... one thing just crossed my mind right now... nothing important and nothing decisive but if you have more than enough supply you could store this supply on some island nearby HI and latter send to HI when Andy ruin your's AF and industry in the HI. Such stored supply will be saved in Ikitsuki island - dont believe that Andy would attack this island. If you do it, expand Ikitsuki island to negate supply leaking...

Rank doesn't matter, so I decided to keep the young 2nd Lt [;)]
The British cv's had a similar AA rating all the way back in 42 [:'(]

I don't have THAT much supplies Pauk, expanding lots of factories and re-supplying
my frontier bases. Will consider 'stashing' supplies in a rear area though.
DA PLAN is still to prevent Andy from knocking out the Home Islands [:-]

It's possible to dream of what could have been, but on the other side: the Empire
has never been as powerful as now - and woe to the one who underestimates it [8D]

The plan is to use the fast KB carriers to threaten Andy's supply train and replenishment
carriers. Imagine sinking the lot while the big boys are engaged with a LBA strike ala
the one shown attacking Kweiyang below.

Oh yeeess! [&o]

Released a Heavy AA Rgt from Kwantung - want one on each of my major bases.

Training in China is proceeding well, lots of units will soon be ready.
If only the Frank would arrive next month we could upgrade all the obsolent
Tojos. Now that would be something. Will train them all and avoid 'using' them
until they've been upgraded.
