I extend a hearty welcome. I think Shaun will be pleasantly surprised when he sees all these new names after coming back from his vacation.

Now, I'm an enthusiast towards a particular historical era (the post -WWII age), but have no experience with modding, other than substituting a few mp3s for the presently existing ones.

One other thing I want to emphasize is that Matrix, as a whole, is a great company. I know some of these guys, and they are good people. Their support is unmatched, and this is why they have such a dedicated fan base.

Erwin,

Ditto on the Matrix Games guys.  I am thrilled to see that they (along with Shrapnel Games and Gamers Front) have taken on the mantel of supporting and upgrading the many quality wargames of the past (and future).  Just purchased TOAW III and as an old Norm Koger fan, am very pleased with the upgrade.  Also glad to see other good ole wargame shops (like SSG) setting up under the Matrix banner.

For gamers who value quality, realistic simulation over eye-candy, these guys consistently deliver the goods.  Prosim Baseball is the baseball simulation that I have been waiting for ever since I started playing Earl Weaver Baseball on my first PC back in 1987.  Hopefully, David Winter will be able to get Maximum Football to a similar level.  I think he is off to a good start and has the right idea in mind.

I am always glad to see my dollars going to support these dedicated individual software craftsmen (and craftswomen) rather than some corporate graphic artist shop.  I hope that enough people buy this game to enable Shaun to get a nice, healthy royalty.[&o]
