India infantry hard to destroy!

I attack Eastern India(which contains 6 infantry units, but no air defence) with 2 tactical & 6 heavy bombers; but never inflict any damage on them. I have replayed many times, never any damage. I could more understand this if the area contained air defence.

I have also attacked East India with 9 infantry & 2 artillery, but always get smashed by the smaller infantry units.

Is this a bug or is there a reason why the units in East India seem so tough?

Have you checked the evasion ratings of the units you are attacking? Or replayed the attack in the animation mode?

You haven't given me enough information to answer your question. I would have to know what world power you were using to attack, who was defending against you, what the evasion ratings for the enemy infantry were, and what the land attack ratings for your forces where. Try looking these up in the unit data screen. If you don't know where the unit data screen is, I suggest you read the game manual through before playing any further. Reading the manual will really help you, count on it. [:)]

It was the evasion value.

I have read the manual, I just did not think to look at the unit ratings.
