Panzer Command Error

Just purchased the download/physical version of Panzer Command. When trying to play the download version get the following message.
"Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.
Process id=0x34c(844) Thread=0xae0(2784)
1.4 Athlon:512Ram:GeForceMX440:
Any help gratefully received!

Did you install both the .net framework and the directx components? The directx contains more than just the standard 9.0c version. (managed directx)

If you have both installed could you attach a log-file (found in the log directory) as well as a dxdiag report? (see the stickies at the top of the support forum on how to do this)

You may have to post one at a time, because multiple attachments are not supported. You could also zip both files and post at once.

Also, if you install on a network drive you need some .net magick to make it work without the above error.
