First impressions

Prepare yourself for a wargaming tour-de-force! Conquest of the Aegean is the next generation of the award-winning and revolutionary Airborne Assault series and it takes brigade to corps-level warfare to a whole new level. Realism and accuracy are the watchwords as this pausable continuous time design allows you to command at any echelon, with smart AI subordinates and an incredibly challenging AI.

First impressions

Well I have played two scenarios now, first one had my butt kicked by the AI--second one I won narrowly.

My verdict: this is a great game.

Particularly impressed with:

1. The new supply system. This takes the game to a higher level than HTTR.

2. The interface is very slick and an improvement on HTTR

3. The manual and other documentation. Very thorough and easy to follow. This will make it much easier for those who have not played the airborne assault series to get into game. New players will love this.

My only request is for contour lines to be included as others have mentioned. This would greatly improve gameplay and immersion. I know that Arjuna has put this on the request list ( along with a zillion other things), but it would be great if it could be given a high priority status on the list.

All in all an outstanding product from this innovative company.

Great job Arjuna and the rest of the development team[:D][&o][:D][&o]

I have been keeping my accolades to a minimum till now - I think you really have outdone yourselves.  This is a great game, and is keeping my interest well beyond what HTTR did.

I think you should consider a North Africa addon pack!

I would recommend that you investigate CMAK from www.battlefront.com. It is 3D, WEGO, and no hiearchal AI control; but it does that scale and theater fairly well.
