CANARY'S CAGE
by Miguel Molina

October 2005. Islamic extremist parties have come to power in several Arab countries. Algeria was the first, despite of the efforts of Western Allies on both sides of Atlantic to stop these regimes. Soon, all North African countries fell under the rule of N.A.I.L., Northern Africa Islamic League, including Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia and the surprisingly the pro-western Kingdom of Morocco.

Morocco, with the help from other NAIL countries, pressed her ancient claim of the African Spanish cities of Ceuta and Melilla. The relationship between Spain and Morocco had deteriorated sharply after Perejil Islot affair and the Western Sahara referendum. Spain answered by reinforcing her military at those two cities. But as the situation started to cool down, a secretly assembled NAIL amphibious force landed on the Canary Islands and captured the islands in spite of stiff resistance by local forces.

While politicians are discussing the invasion in the U.N. and NATO, Spain mobilizes her military forces to retake the islands.

MID-ATLANTIC BLUES
by Michael Mykytyn

War has been raging for two weeks and Nato is beginning to feel the pinch of low supplies. The US and UK coastlines have been cleared of most antishipping attacks but the Midatlantic still remains a happy hunting ground for Soviet submarine Captains. This scenario depicts two days in the Midatlantic during World War 3.

WRECKAGE
by Michael Mykytyn

The Second Korean War started as abruptly as the first had ended. The South had prospered. The North was a remnant of what once was, isolated, its people starving and on the brink of bankruptcy. The order was given and over 2000 artillery pieces ignited the Korean dawn. Two brigades of North Korean commandos emerged from their hideouts, thoroughly wrecking the defensive infrastructure. Scud and Nodong missiles began striking Seoul by the dozens. The war was definitely on...

This scenario is quick, bloody but fun. Playable from both sides the scenario duration is 10 hours. The North Korean side is especially enjoyable.

All the above scenarios are played using the DB2000. Get the DB and the scens here: http://www.harpoonhq.com/harpoon3/scenarios/

p.s. Forum netiquette as well as common sense dictates that anyone else wishing to post about their own scenarios does so in a separate thread instead of highjacking other people's announcement threads. Unfortunately, certain posters in this forum have failed to act upon this simple principle. I am therefore forced to explicitly ask that the integrity of such threads be respected. I can only hope that I am not asking too much of the maturity level of certain individuals. Thank you.

I disagree, you have a generic thread title, etiquette would dictate that any post falling within the subject would be in the same thread. Perhaps you need to try a more specific subject in order for your argument to be true, such as, "Today's Random HHQ Picks (02/07/2006)"

Exactly! If you want to start an exclusive thread to publicize your own scenarios, then you should clearly identify it as such... by the title... and by an introductory posting stating that this will be a thread to publish and share your own work.

I didn't think for one second that other designers posting links to their scenarios in this thread was in any way inappropriate.

I WAS enjoying this thread until it started to turn into another catfight.
Love & Peace,

My old Piczo site seems to be gone, so no more Navajo Nation pics :(
