Crash after Loading Scenario

I downloaded the game and installed it successfully with the required Direct x and .Net programs.

The game loads properly...allows me to pick a scenario...choose my force...and then as the loading of the game is completed it crashes back to the first menu when you start the game.

I tried to attach the game log but it says it is too big to upload...330k. So I copied a couple of the error messages that appears in it. I have a brand new Sony Vaio with updated drivers. I have tried reducing imgae quality to medium and adjusting the other quality choices but all the same outcome. crash.

I had the same thing, but a restart of the CPU stopped the problem.  I noticed it after I changed texture detail to "very high" (or whatever the highest is) from "high" (or whatever second from the highest is...
