.."save" hiccup ?

..for local technical reasons , an unreliable electricity supply, i need to keep saving the turn in pbem mode in "2 weeks in Normandy", yet every time i save after saving i get blown out to the opening menu and have to go back thru play game, etc..

..oh and listen to the music.....

When you save a PBEM game, the game exits. I guess we should have specified this in the manual, since it is a change from previous versions of TOAW.

When you save a PBEM game, the game exits. I guess we should have specified this in the manual, since it is a change from previous versions of TOAW.

..or left it as was, which was fine. This new system is a real pain

You can set it so that if you double-click on a .sal file, it will open TOAW. That should help some.

..ultimately i suppose i'l just have to bite the bullet and get some sort of back-up power system, any recomendations ?
