Korea 50-51 Bug

Post by Dr. Foo »

The first problem might not be a bug, but when I played this scenario with COW SK units would always reconstitute in or near Pusan. Now they are showing up all over the map, most of the time in places where I cannot use them and they are easy pickings for NK rear guard units. Has the Pusan reconstitution point been omitted?

The second is downright strange I had a SK reconstituted unit show up off the coast of Pusan it was reorganizing and I could not move it so the NK artillery blew it out of the water.

The second issue with a reconstituting unit appearing in the deep water hex sounds like some sort of bug, but the others are not - unless the hexes were owned by the NK's. Did the unit that appeared near Kunsan pop up in a hex that was controlled by the enemy in the previous turn? If the enemy just penetrated to those surrounding hexes the previous turn, but had not yet converted the arrival hex, the new forces would have appeared before the step in the ABP where local patrols convert adjacent hexes.

If you crop the image down enough, you should be able to attach it, and embed it.

Have'nt seen anything like this - on T27 w/Elmer - I definitely have noticed the need to clean up your rear areas for reconstituted units[:-]
Kudos to Ralph for Elmer - I was squirming for quite a few turns - but he's
quite predictable after a while![8D]
dazed and confused again!

The predictability should change when people start writing scenarios for Elmer.<g>
