Pitcher Batting

I know I've seen this mentioned here and there but pitchers hit WAY too well in this game.

Shaun has mentioned this is getting tweaked in the next patch...

This is something I disagree with.   I don't think a pitcher should be considered an automatic out.    If you look over the historical stats, a precious few were actually pretty good.   I've seen a few singles, and even a double.

A pitcher drawing a walk is funny, unless I'm the team giving it up.

Agreed..there have been some pretty good hitting pitchers. But not every starting pitcher on almost every team. For every Drysdale, Newcombe, Ken Brett, you have 5 Rick Camps.

My starting pitchers were almost all hitting .200 at the end of my season...that's not right.

In my experience pitchers as a group do hit too well in this sim (v1.18). I agree they should not be an automatic out but as stated overall as a group their averages appear to be too high.

Historically pitchers as a whole average somewhere around .150 give or take a few points.
