Carzy shipment cost

Post by bpolarsk »

Correct me if I am wrong, but for SPWAW 5.0, (value 20+2$) Global Express asks 44$ to send it to Belgium. This is more or less what I pay for RGW (soft+shipment) through C&B. It sounds as if Matrix were not really interrested in the european market.

Hi Bpolarsk,
Actually, Matrix does care about the European market, as much as we do about North America or anywhere else in the world.

David and I are aware of the rather high cost of shipping and we're right now working on getting a cheaper alternative to the current prices.

Our main problem is that we are trying to get the best price for the best delivery in both speed and reliability. No one really wants to wait 2 months to get something they ordered online and we want to avoid that if at all possible and for a resonable price.

We'll be sure to post any updates we do have so keep an eye out. We should have soon

44-22 that's 22$ for shipment...
Battlefront had "only" 15$ for CM shipment all over the world...

Maybe there could be several options for shipment... one fast and costly and another cheaper...
20$ for the Mega Campaign is a nice price, i don't want to pay more for shipment than for the game ;)

I do agree on the above complaints on shipping costs.
I think people should be able to choose at least between the "fast and expensive" and the "cheap and slow" alternatives..
I for one would choose for the cheap one :) (I can always download 5.0 version meantime).
I'm really enclined to buy your cd as a way to pay you back for all the good you've done up to now,but if forced to pay as much for shipment as for the cd itself(or even more), I could change my mind.

Hi
Why not let the megacampaign be a download with a registration code, where you buy the code and get it via e-mail?

ITs going to be too big. We learned form SP:WaW that downloading files 100MB+ causes more trouble than it solves...

I checked but saw no possibility for a cheaper but slower delivery. Considering that I am a very regular surfer, if it happens that I missed this, then the site is wrong in its conception. Within my brain, the very few neurones that are still actives had no problems to understand how to order with success, CD with cheap delivery on C&B. ;)
