Tutorial Scenario 1

Post by pvthudson01 »

My first AAR for this game is the Tutorial, and I linked my Korsun Pocket one on those forums so I'll put mine here for this game

I am not very good at writing these but I find they help me learn the game better

MOVED HERE: http://hudshideout.com/blog/?p=3160

Anyway there it is! Part two is coming

Good AAR.  I liked the way you did it - also surprised there were no Germans at Yef Alamanas.

Jason,
I like the way you delivered this report. Very clean look. Nice RL pictures to add immersion. Where did you get them?

Hmm the one I used in this I think I got from one of the many WW2 sites I went to to research more on the battle, it was a website about the armed forces in New Zealand I think but I cant remember the link it is on my home computer. Also before I fight the battles I head over the WW2 wikipedia if I haven't read too much about that front. I have a ton of good WW2 links at home. I like to add some RL pictures so people can visualize what it may have looked like.

Oh, don't worry. I was just curious. The pictures add a lot of immersion to a great report. When I play CotA and sometimes a lonely Coy under the friendly AI takes a seemingly unexplainable route, right into the lion's teeth, I remind myself on how confusing and different the battle may have seen through a captain's binocular. While seeing RL pictures of the battle I cannot avoid questioning myself about those things.

I'm reading your second report now.

Salud!

No problem! The second report is not done yet however I have been very busy but plan to finish it sometime next week. I am at a bad spot in that game right now that counter attack really licked me
