love this game!!

Hi everyone,
I bought the game yesterday and played the first tutorial this morning(see my other post)
Just finished my first mission and had a decisive victory. Very intense and hard fighting took place but was fun to play. I wanted to use this post as a test run to see if I could attach a screendump as I would like to do some AAR's when I get more experienced- without success.
I found the embed picture tickbox but how do I save my screen dump so I can attach it?

Pressing the <Print Scrn> key will copy the current screen onto a thingie called the Clipboard. You then open any paint program, where you typically have to select Edit - Paste from the menu to paste the image from the Clipboard into the paint program. Selecting File - Save As from the menu will then enable you to save the screen as a file. Select JPG or Jpeg as filetype.

If you don't have a dedicated paint program you can always do this : select the Start button - select Run ... type "mspaint" and click <ok>. This will start the MS Paint program where you can perform the actions described above.

I realize that this is a bit cumbersome, so you might be interested in this : I've programmed a little tool that automatically captures the CotA screen and saves it to a sequentially numbered jpg file when you press the <pause / break> button. If you want it, send a mail to eddysterckx@hotmail.com and I'll send it to you.

You also have to upload your screenshots to somewhere that is accessible from the internet. I used a ftp program to upload screenshots to my homepage at my internet provider.&nbsp; If you manage to display your screenshot in your browser like:

[/blockquote] You can copy what is in the address bar of your browser, to the dialog that pops up when you press the 'Add Image' button when you compose a forum reply.

I hope you get what I am trying to say.

If you don't have anywhere to upload images, take a look at www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.us. Both sites offer free hosting of images.
