HA! you're online now.

I suspect that the deciding reason was that .14 fixed a definite problem, in that units did not reconstitute. .17 doesn't do anything that radical. It rebalances AA, and does some other things, like better document the scenarios. Many scenarios are perfectly playable with .14.

The plan is that upgrades will normally be in beta status for a week or so before being released. The reason that we're putting them out in Beta is not because they are beta quality code, but because we don't have the resources to test all the combinations of hardware, etc. possible. Most problems encountered while in this beta status will simply be documented, and the release will happen as planned.

We're not entirely unfair, and offer you a choice of weapons. Cyclone propelled houses OR a bucket of water.[;)]

But first, you must bring us...a shrubbery!

I've actually signed up for the members area to get the .17 patch since it's supposed to address some sound issues of which I have one.

Unfortunately, the automailer must be on leave right now. Yes, I've tried two different e-mail addresses and one without a spam blocker at all.

I'm just wondering if I should sacrifice a chicken in a voodoo ritual and spray blood all over the walls to get the new patch.

Hopefully, we can spare your chicken - for this patch, at least - as the .17 patch should be released to the public tonight, or tomorrow. It was supposed to be released today, which would have put it a whole 7 days ahead of a TOAD Tuesday, but since it looks like it might not go "official" until tomorrow, you'll have to live with it only being 6 days ahead...[;)]

You might want to email support to solve that members area problem.
