Theater Recon

Post by *Lava* »

Hi!

If you set Theater Recom to a value of 100, shouldn't you be able to see all the units on the map?

Try a search on 'Theater Reconnaissance'. Then look at 'Event Effects' topic. It indicates some variability, and I assume even at 100%.

Hope this helps.

Okay..

But I'm not even getting close with theater recon set at 100%.

I have a flat plain and 50km per hex. Map size about 50x75.

All I'm seeing is about a quarter to a half of the enemy units.

There are no aircraft in the scenario, BTW.

Looks like I have to do some digging.

Thanks for the direction.

I once made a test sceanrio and it is true, there is some variability in it. It was not possible to see every enemy unit at 100% Recon. I attached it - simply change the ending from .txt to .sce, it's the ACoW version so you have to convert it.

Check the weather, it probably has an effect.

A lot actually! And now I have just the right effect.

Thanks!
