SCREEN NOT SIZING TO FULL ANYMORE

I have been running Harpoon III ANW for several weeks now with no problems. I then downloaded the WWII database from the "Harpoon Headquarters" web site. I now wish that I hadn't.

The long and the short of it was I could not get it to work. Now when I play the regular Harpoon III with the data base provided I can't get my Samsung Monitor to show the game in full screen.

I then removed the game from my system entirely and re-insalled. The game plays but again will not "fill the screen". I seem to remember getting some message about video drivers not being up to date, but that is nonsense since I have been playing it full screen for weeks now.

I realize that you can change the settings for resolution in the game set up but I do not witness any change no matter what I set it to.

Can someone offer some suggestions here? The old addage that "if it ain't busted don't try to fix it is double true here".

Screen Resolution Problem

If the "Video Driver Error" message is the same as shown here:

Out of date video drivers, then I don't think you have much to worry about.

When you deleted the game, did you use the "Uninstall" function? Or, did you simply delete the folders?

If you simply deleted the folders, you might have some vestigal fragments or files left over that are causing mis-match problems.

Have you checked to be sure that run in window is disabled in your configuration? This should cause Harpoon to run full screen.



If your configuration looks like this please click the runinwindow.opt selection in the menu (which selects/highlights it) and then click the Disable--> button. Click okay when you're done to launch the game. If for whatever reason this is not your solution just launch the configuration utility and enable it by doing the reverse.

Off hand you didn't happen to change your windows resolution?
