No Manual, twice!

Post by Tim Snoddy »

Hi, I ordered the digital download and physical copy on the 30th of June. I happily downloaded the game and have been playing since. When my physical copy arrived there was no game manual. I rang the helpline on the invoice and explained what had happened and they said they would post me a replacement copy which arrrved today again with no manual.

So my question, is a UK customer buying the physical copy of the game entitled to a manual and if so why have I not received one in two attempts and the best part of a month?

OK fair enough. I see the from the blurb at the shop all it says you get with a physical copy is the CD and DVD box. It would have been nice for the support guys to have known this as I did ask the question should I have got a manual when I first raised the query. It would also have saved Matrix posting me a second copy for no reason.

Hi, did you contact our Tech Support or the store Tech Support of Digital River (they run the shop infrastructure)?

Manuals are provided as PDFs that are installed to your hard disk along with the software. You can access them from the Windows "START menu" folder of the respective software / game. If you want to access them via "Windows Explorer" or "My Computer" please browse to the installation directory of the program. All PDF files are normally located in a directory called "Manual(s)".

We are looking into a print on demand service for manuals in the future.
