Problems with LOS area tool in Tempe Gorge Crisis scenario

When using the LOS area tool in the Tempe Gorge Crisis scenario, it doesn't show anything outside of a 3x3 km box (the 9 closest grid boxes to where you click) no matter where you click on the map.
