TOAW backscreen

Post by Okimaw »

Here's something I did last night. All the hardcore TOAWers might want to use it. Hmmm seems to be cut off when it's opened here. PM me if you want an original jpeg or bitmap emailed to you

Does anyone have the "title" bmp's handy from Wargame of the Year, TOAW 1 & 2 Elite Editions and any of the battle packs? I'd like to make a bmp with all or at least most of the versions. If you do could you email me a copy at rvt591 at yahoo. ca   It would be much appreciated. Thanx

The image, when saved to your computer, isn't cropped.  But I guess I have to re-save it as an 'Omnipage Image Document' to be used as a front screen replacement?

Hmmm..What I did was just cut and paste the centers of the "cwtitle" bmp or whatever the name of TOAW 1 & 2 was and saved as a regulat bmp in my documents. Right click on desktop, properties, background is the first option, select the bmp and it's on there. If it's to big for your scren you can use the stretch/scew tool in paint to reduce the size so it will fit

Sorry, what I meant was: If I want to replace the load screen in TOAWIII with this image, then I have to convert it.  It seems that all of TOAWIII's images are in 'Omnipage Image Document'  format.

Forget it.  My mistake.  I seem to have mistakenly turned on 'hide file extensions' on my computer and so all jpeg formats are being listed as omni-yada-yada.
