Creating Players

I was wondering what others are using to create new players (prospects)


Is it all subjective or is anyone using some sort of method for player ratings

any suggestions would be appreciated

Tough one.

For the players I've created (modern rookies), I just went with the subjective approach.  Since we don't know how PureSim turns stats into ratings when importing players, there's no other way to do it.  However, if I had MS Access, then I would simply edit the database and let the game import the player, but since I don't have access, it's the best guess route for me....

particular the potential rating

whats the difference between someone in the 90's vs the 60's

in past pure sim version i was able to edit the lahman base

in this version, it wont let me do it

example

take a rookie stats in the minor league put them in the lahman base, than
import that player

but can we get into the lahman base in this version of puresim baseball ?
