Old Scenario's

Post by Analog Kid »

Hypothetical Question. Since it seems to be rather difficult port the HTTR stuff into COTA.

After Panther Games is done with BFTB or the next installment, would you buy the previous games scenario's re done by them in the new system? Say for around 40-50 US?

Would it be worth it for Panther Games? Would it be faster than writing a new game?

I would buy it. The European Theater is my favorite, and I would love to play HTTR in BFTB system or beyond.

I'd like it to be chooseable through the COTA game, not a separate exe.  I'll give $19.95 right now.

I agree with you there, not a seperate exe just the scenarios.

Heres a question for ya Crimguy and others, since the engine is evolving, what happens after BFTB comes out. Would you again pay $19.95 or $XX.XX for COTA and then $19.95 or $XX.XX again for HTTR etc etc

I would love to play HTTR w/ COTA engine, but Im sure I would love to play it in BFTB too. Nor do I really want to slow down the development of whats next too much. But would not want to have to continually pay for HTTR. I already know I would like to play COTA with minefields :) I think, for me, if Panther Games would pause and put out the scenario's for 2 games back. So HTTR after BFTB, COTA after whatevers after, after (2)BFTB. Tho I might not buy COTA's scenarios, even tho I like it very much, its just not as fun as ETO or the Eastern Front wide open tank battles/seiges. But I probably would :)
