The game should have forced the date to be read according to the format it specified. Have you changed your Date / Time settings lately? What scenario are you playing?

Your log file shows this:
09-Aug-06 4:37:15 PM: Device Type: Hardware

Where mine is formatted like this:
8/4/2006 3:15:51 AM: Device Type: Hardware

The scenario date is formatted m/d/yyyy.

haven't changed any date-time stuff as far as I can remember back...

I can't get to the scenario listings, the game closes back to the desktop after choosing the display options and trying to continue.

So if I reset my date options all will be well?

edit: indeed it is... weird.

I've kept the dd/mm/yyyy format that I need but it works fine with the game.

I had the date set like that since I bought the computer a couple years back. I set it like that as it was the closest I could come to Canadian date display that I could get while still using the US keyboard location settings. I've reconfigured to use the Canadian location settings (and Canadian date config) and the problems of course went away.

I hated the language bar showing up when I chose English Canadian settings giving me the choice of loading English American or English Canadian when I chose Canadian. I've suppressed the language bar so it won't annoy me. [:)]

what's more weird is that I looked at the code, and it is forcing en-us on the date-time function. Not only that, haven't you been running Panzer Command for a while now? I'm pretty sure this portion of the code hasn't changed in a while. I'm wondering if there is some other code change in the recent patch that affected this.

At least for now, you have a work around.

Yup, but I uninstalled a little while ago and reinstalled... this wasn't working for me before the latest patch either...
