Highlighting units described by messages

I bought CotA over the weekend and have been enjoying it since then. I had deja vu when I first double-clicked on a message at the top of the screen, assuming that it would select (and center the display on) the unit described by the message. Just like in HttR, that method doesn't work. Anyway, I did find out that I can accomplish the same thing by going to the message tab and double clicking on the relevant message.

Are there any other methods of highlighting the unit described by a message? Although the message tab method works, I was hoping for something even quicker and easier. Ideally, I'd like to double click on the messages on the screen, but I assume that isn't implemented in the current title. Any recommendations?

Re highlighting/selecting on-map messages. It's on the wish list already. Maybe for the next game, Battles from the Bulge ( BFTB ).

With PageUp and PageDown you can select a message, and Home will jump to the unit on the map.

Thanks! If that had been in HttR, I guess I had forgotten. The shortcut should help delay the onset of my pending carpal tunnel. [:'(]
