Sharing the same sea zone.

Actually playing a PBEM of WAW and noticed a very funny [:)] but unpleasant problem[:(].

Having done a strategy of Great Britain first I ended up having German subs along Australia East Coast to avoid the US to reinforce it while the Japs were gearing for an invasion.

The turn I wanted to launch the invasion I noticed that of course I can't put Japanese transports fleets in the same sea zone than the one where was the German subs. Must be very big subs [&:]

Same goes for German & Japanese Transport fleets that can't share the same sea zone to trade Sauerkraut for Sushis [8|]

Actually there was German subs preying in the Indian ocean so if you end up controlling India you can imagine them going as far as Australia and I don't see any good reason but programming issues to prevent Axis fleets to share the same sea zone.

Hope this could be solved in this new game [&o]

No change so far, and this annoys me. We will see if we can make head way on this issue.

OK, something along the lines of optional scuttling is in the works, we may yet see this implemented.  This would fix a lot of problems.  I´ll keep y´all posted.

With all due respect I don't think optional scuttling is a long term solution, maybe a quick fix but in the long run the problem is more about sharing a zone with subs.

Fleets is not the problem unless the world is conquered by the Axis but it's more likely that you can see German subs in the Pacific or Indian Ocean especially since the new rules.

If this block the Japanese fleets it's a problem and not sure the German will be keen to scuttle his subs every time it happens. Now the strange thing is that you can share the same sea zone between ennemies even where there is subs but not between allies. Maybe there is the solution to this problem.
