Problem playing Mega-Campaigns

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the Mega-Campaigns. When I finish reading the intro and try to start the first battle, as soon as I click on any unit other than the HQ the game stops and closes down. Anyone have any ideas what the problem is? I'd really like to start playing now I've bought it ......

I have version 8.403 of SP:WAW.

Try starting the game from the "Mech.exe" in the main SPwaw folder.  If that solves ur prob then make it a shortcut.   Good hunting

Thanks for the prompt suggestion!

Actually, I discovered the problem - me not reading the documentation fully .... [8|]

basically, the order email told me I was getting SPWAW 8.20, so I installed the 8.30, 8.40 and 8.403 patches. HOWEVER, I actually got SPWAW 8.403, so when I installed the patches, I screwed things up!

My bad!![:)]
