Game shuts down when loading battle

Post by mvongunten »

I just purchased and installed Panzer Command. When I try to load a battle or scenario, it goes through the entire bar, but when it gets to the end the game just shuts down.
I made sure the DirectX and .net installed during installation and I have updated all video and audio drivers. I will try to attach the DirectX dialog file and the game log file in a following post.

Thanks.

Can you put the log file in a zip file?

It won't let me attach the zipped file.

Inside your log folder should be a text file with a .log extention. It should only be some kbs in size. How big is your file from today?

The file is 314 kb and the attachment limit is 200kb. It wouldn't let me attach a .zip.
I tried to play multiple times using different video set-ups and different battles, etc., so it has probably made the file larger.

hmmmm

Email that file in a zip to support at koiosworks

You could move that file to "My Documents" for future reference, the folder would then be empty. Starting the game will create a new file that should be smaller. Then try attaching that file here.

Game is still crashing I assume. Hopefully someone from Koios will be around tonight to help you.

I'm pretty sure your video hardware isn't completely DirectX 9 compatible. Check Intel's website concerning Hardware Transform and Lighting
