Hardwiring

Post by Deathtreader »

Hi,

I'm probably not wording this well but does the AA engine make use of hardwiring to ensure desired effects (not results) in the way that the different components interact?? Some games such as Uncommon Valor and it's cousins do....
From a scenario design perspective this would be useful to know. With incremental improvements to the engine occuring every release and assuming some user friendly way [:)] is found or provided to upgrade existing scenarios to that improved engine it could prove very useful to know.... For example recreating Deelen Day One with the North African release may not work out so well if hardcoding to simulate the vagaries of desert warfare has been utilized.

So we're at war with the Russkies eh?? I suppose we really ought to invade or something. (Lonnnng pause while studying the map)
Hmmmm... big place ain't it??
